You will be tested on:
Hand Signals (4 of them) check the driving Manual
3-point turn
Backing up for about 50 ft no mirrors allowed
Parallel parking
Securing your vehicle on a hill
Instrument panel

**These Road Tests are usually done on Saturday. Occasionally the RMV|DOT is not able to provide a Road Test Examiner (RTE) for the original test date. We do not have control of this. When it occurs, we notify our students when the RMV|DOT has confirmed the date for the exam!
Critical ERROR / MANDATORY failure of Road Test:
1.Collision with another motor vehicle, pedestrian, or object.
2. Failure to pull over for emergency vehicle.
3. Applicant does NOT know their hand signals.
4. Unsafe maneuver that may have caused an accident or in a way the examiner considered dangerous.
5. You violated a motor vehicle law, rule, or regulation.
6. You demonstrated a lack of experience safely operating a motor vehicle.
7. Failure to follow instruction/directive by the Examiner!
